Blog U #10 - Censorship in blogging
In what looks to be a growing trend, bloggers are being targeted by corporations (Forbes article), governments (Chinese blogger censored and Libyan imprisoned) and institutions (Schools mentioned last week).
Those of us in the United States tend to forget how valuable our First Amendment rights are until an event like this reminds us – at least Im grateful. Reporters Without Borders is a great site to learn more about blogging safely and they have a downloadable book for bloggers.
Also, please help those who are being harmed for their beliefs by visiting the Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch websites.
